Souls of Mischief

I spent the last 5 months working on Threadsence's Coachella lookbook and  I'm beyond proud of what we accomplished.
You MUST watch the video and tell me what you think.
You can view the lookbook right below the video or go to Threadsence to see it in it's full glory.

FNO with Tory Burch

(blouse-c/o Tory Burch, shoes-c/o Tory Burch, skirt- J.Crew, bracelets- House of Harlow, J.Crew, vintage, c/o Konstantino, rings-LowLuv, c/o besobeso)
Last night I had the pleasure of hosting a little FNO event at Tory Burch on Robertson Blvd. The boutique is a charming little space with the best of Tory Burch. They have the Fall 2011 collection almost in it's entirety, and let me tell you, the collection is as amazing in store as it was when I saw it walk the runway last season. A huge thank you to the Tory Burch team for being so sweet and welcoming.

Here's a little teaser video I put together of the collection.

Edge of the Sun

I want this video to be my life. mkthanks

follow up

(sweater, vest, bag-Zara, skirt- c/o American Apparel, necklaces-vintage, shoes-Surface to Air, tights-H&M)
This skirt gives me Easter egg butt. I'm ok with that.
Someone told me we would be having a dry winter, my first thought was "Ooh! I can buy suede".

Closet Stories

I truly hate doing videos. I feel awkward and unnatural. At least the editing in this video is fantastic and Linguine looks adorable. A huge thank you to bloglovin for coming over and taking a peek.
Don't judge, video-awkwardness is a real disease.

You can see more closet stories on their blog.

Pages of fun

(thank you to the beautiful Dee Larsen for giving me the idea for this vid)
A couple flip books we made at the Modcloth party.
I want to make billions more of these little things. I feel terribly sad when I think of all the moments I won't be able to document in the form of an adorable flip book. These mini party favors give you the delightful ability to manipulate time with a simple flip of a page. Having time at my fingertips is not an occurrence I pass up.

*Finally created a Facebook fan page for the blog!*

Look Mom! I'm a real model.

My Tobi lookbook for Kasil Workshop jeans styled by Taylor Jacobson.

I love the creative team at tobi (and everyone else there for that matter). It's always a blast being there. Check out Tobi for more.

Get Nasty

I am so excited to share this video lookbook I shot for Nasty Gal a while back.
I think it looks amazing and everyone did a great job with styling, editing, and make up.
It was a blast to film and when you see us drinking beer and eating chips, it's all for real, breakfast of champions.

(styling-Sophia (the Nasty Gal herself), models-your's truly and Alex, directed by Paul Trapani & Hiawatha Bradley)

Here are some shots of Nick (my nastygal bf) and me screwing around.

It has been raining non stop in SF and the past week it has been like 35 degrees. Are you kidding me? 35? That's a temperature I am not prepared to deal with.
I need new boots...Thigh high boots for under 200...suggestions? Must be leather and must actually stay up on the leg without getting all slouchy and annoying.
