Brunch is kind of a big deal in LA. In fact, I’m running off to brunch as soon as I post this. Before I take off for brunch, I’m going to share my favorite DIY brunch recipe.
It’s a quick and easy balsamic glaze with a bit of fruit and Greek yogurt.
How to make it in 4 easy steps:
Step 1. Dice up some of your favorite fruit. I’m using 1 peach and 2 figs to make about 2 servings.
Step 2. Quickly caramelize the fruit by dropping into a hot skillet with just a little bit of oil. Let the fruit hang out for about a minute or two. than turn down the heat to low.
Step 3. Add a little bit of cinnamon, a tablespoon of brown sugar, and a little less then half a cup of Balsamic Vinegar. Stir and let it lightly simmer for about 10 minutes. The balsamic will start to thicken up into a syrup.
Step 4. Spoon the balsamic glazed fruit into a ramekin, top with Greek yogurt and a drizzle of honey.
Serve and enjoy!
