After spending a significant amount of time working on our Westy we finally completed the renovations with some blood sweat and tears from our family. We decided to celebrate our love of road trips by taking her on her maiden voyage to one of our favorite places Joshua Tree. We made this video with the amazingly talented LRcreative who I’ve previously worked for at Ruche and Threadsence. I hope you enjoy it and get a more intimate glimpse into our life and love.
Recently I teamed up with Estée Lauder & Byrdie.com to bring you 5 genius serum hacks featuring Estée Lauder’s Advanced Night Repair Serum. One of my favorites was using the serum as a subtle highlighter. The serum is really light and is a nice substitute for my usual highlighter. Check out the serum and the rest of the beauty hacks in the video below.
This post and video were created in collaboration with Byrdie.com and Clique Studios.
A few posts ago I mentioned how I have just revised my skincare routine. I discussed the addition of new products and steps in my regimen. Today I want to introduce the other new component of my routine, SUPERSTART Skin Renewal Booster from Elizabeth Arden. I use it as a jump start to my day as a type of first step for my face before using the Prevage® Anti-Aging Daily Serum and rest of my skincare products.
SUPERSTART boosts the effectiveness of your other products, enhances moisturization and helps make your skin smoother and more resilient. It’s formulated with a probiotic complex to help optimize your skin’s microflora to strengthen its natural defense. I love how smooth, hydrated and soft my face feels after I use it. I really thinks it’s a great compliment to all of my beauty products especially when used together with Prevage® Anti-Aging Daily Serum. I’m truly impressed.
I will be making a video showing you how I use the products and the results so stay tuned. In the meantime check out Elizabeth Arden’s video all about the product and it’s benefits here:

I’m really excited to share today’s new hair video in collaboration with GHD and their award-winning GHD Gold Professional Styler which has been give a retro makeover to support women battling cancer. Each sale of this styler contributes $5 to Look Good Feel Better. The program focuses on improving the self-esteem and quality of life of women undergoing cancer treatment. It’s a wonderful cause and a great product. A win all around.
I’ve been using my GHD styler for years but I’ve only recently mastered this curling technique thanks to my hair guru, Alexis. We’ve teamed up to create this hair tutorial as a quick guide to getting those messy waves I love so much. The GHD styler works particularly well here as it is made to smoothly glide through the hair. The key to this is to slide the styler down each strand of hair while twisting the hair and styler away from the face. Once you get the feel of it, it becomes second nature. Check out the DIY video below and grab your own styler here.
