SKIN WORSHIP BEAUTY-1I’ve talked about my skin care routine many many times before. My number one trick for keeping my skin healthy and vibrant is to always be trying new things. I’m love finding new products and switching up my skin routine. For the last 30 days I committed to using a new skincare line from my skin gurus over at Skin Worship. The line is brand new but I was nonetheless thrilled to give it a try, especially since I’ve already seen a huge improvement in my skin ever since I’ve decided to invest into getting routine facials with my Skin Worship gals. This post is not a sponsored post. I’m writing this because I truly love their new line. After 30 days of using only their products I can honestly say that my skin looks as hydrated and refreshed as it did when I left the office right after a facial, which in turn allows me add an extra 2 weeks in between my monthly appointments. If you’re interested in giving the line a try you can shop the Skin Worship products on their site, or if you’re an LA local pop in for a facial ( you won’t be disappointed).

UNILEVER-4 UNILEVER-5 UNILEVER-6 UNILEVER-7 UNILEVER-8 UNILEVER-9 UNILEVER-10 UNILEVER-1 UNILEVER-3 UNILEVER-2Sam and I love Miami. It’s a trip we take at least once a year. Having taken this trip many times, we’ve learned that taking a redeye is actually the best way to get the most of our time in Miami. Over the years I’ve picked up a few tricks for looking fresh when you’re just off the redeye and have a jam packed day. My first rule is to wash my face and take off all my makeup while I’m on the plane. I always pack makeup remover like the Simple Dual Effect Eye Make-up Remover which gently takes of all of my makeup helping ensure my face is clean for the duration of the flight. I also pack a hydrating lip balm. I like the Vaseline Rosy Lips Lip Balm for it’s added pop of color which is perfect for when I’m stepping off the plane. Both of those are important for making sure you get off the flight looking and feeling refreshed. I drink mass amounts of water and pack a change of clothes. Once we land, we check into our hotel. If the room isn’t ready, which it rarely is, we freshen up at the spa. I fix up my hair with a beach spray and add dry shampoo like the one from Nexxus to absorb any excess oil as well as set my hair for the day ahead. The last step is to slip on a chic dress (this Who What Wear wrap dress is perfect for just that), an oversized pair of sunnies, and I’m ready to seize the day.

PERASOL-2 PERASOL-5 PERASOL-7 PERASOL-3 PERASOL-4 PERASOL-6 PERASOL-1One of the most important aspects of my personal beauty routine is taking great care of my skin. My number one rule is keeping my skin safe from sun damage so I never leave the house without applying a broad spectrum sunscreen. I always have a hat in the car and I always lounge under umbrellas by the pool and by the beach.

To keep my skin healthy but also looking fresh, I prefer to use a light tinted sunscreen. This is my ultimate go to in the summer when I wear little makeup and spend a lot of time outside in the sun. One of my favorite new products is PCA SKIN’s  Sheer Tint Broad Spectrum SPF 45 because not only is the tint great, it also acts as my makeup primer. Sometimes SPF can feel heavy or leave a white cast on your skin but this new Sheer Tint feels amazing and goes on smooth, blending my skin tone.  I also love that it’s water-proof so I won’t sweat it off.  It’s the perfect amount of coverage without feeling heavy on my skin.
