A few bold and bright photos from the bathing huts on an Australian beach to get you in the mood for fall. It was a real trip to travel to a completely different season overnight. I went from summer dresses on the beach to coats and layers, also on the beach. These bathing boxes were originally introduced as a way to allow rich Victorian men and women in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s to go to the beach while preserving their modesty. Now they are prime beachfront real estate passed down through families and a perfect picture opportunity.
I’ll have more from my trip to Melbourne later this week, for now I’m trying to beat jetlag with reading and cooking.
