Last summer Sam and I shot a beautiful flower filled editorial with a gorgeous Yumi Kim dress. Yumi and  her team saw the post and loved it. After they reached out to thank us for the post we started brainstorming on a way we could collaborate together.  Fast forward to today and we are in the final stages of planing our summer pop up shop this Saturday the 20th. Because Yumi Kim has some of the most breathtaking floral prints, and I absolutely love flowers, it only seemed natural that theme of the pop up would be centered around flowers. The event will take place at Platform in Culver City where you will be able to shop all of the spring and summer collections while surrounded by beautiful blooms and an inspiring atmosphere. I will be hosting the event as well as creating custom floral arrangements for anyone who purchases something pretty from Yumi Kim.  Even if you’re not in the mood to shop, stop by to check out BabyBlue (she’ll be there in all her van glory), snap some pics, and say hello.

In light of our upcoming event, I decided to shoot an editorial inspired by my dream of turning BabyBlue into a mobile flower shop. I imagine driving the coastline, stopping to sell flowers, swimming in the ocean, and changing from one lovely frock into another.
