Road trip season is here and Sam and I have been getting Baby Blue ready for a few more adventurous excursions. Most recently, we took the van up to the family ranch in Santa Cruz by way of Carmel. Our new favorite place to stay is the Carmel Valley Ranch. The resort is nestled deep in Carmel Valley, surrounded by oak trees, wildlife, and wildflowers. The outside tub is perfect for relaxing and , because it’s dog friendly, of course we brought the whole fluffy squad.
Before heading out on a trip, and with a variety of new adventures on the horizon, I absolutely had to get my hair done. It’s my secret weapon to feeling my best while we travel. My hair guru Alexis and I decided to go for an icy blonde hue. My hair takes about 7.5 hours to do and we have to put it through a lot to get the color I envision.
After getting my hair dyed I always take special care of it to keep it looking shiny and healthy. It was perfect timing since I’m now going to be an Herbal Essences brand ambassador so I can keep my hair looking healthy and feeling it’s best!
I was so excited to try their new line of shampoos and conditioners with the new bio:renew formula, a blend of signature natural ingredients that helps revive dull, lifeless hair.
I always love learning about the science behind the products I’m using so was thrilled to get the chance to speak to one of the actual chemists who worked on the bio:renew technology!
The first collection I tried from the new range was the Herbal Essences Argan Oil of Morocco Collection. It’s designed to repair hair and left mine feeling shiny and smooth. I’m excited to try the rest of the new collections which are all free of gluten, paraben and dyes. Plus I love the updated bottle design and refreshing new scents!
