There are some amazing things happening in Downtown LA these days. Recently ROW DTLA set up Smorgusburg, a weekly happening of artisan vendors selling food, vintage wares, and local art. No surprise Sam and I went mainly for the food and were not disappointed. Our first stop (along with everyone else) were the Raindrop Cakes. They were so different and pleasantly refreshing in the summer heat. Next we hit up the mini donuts from Donut Friend. I suggest you give the ramen burger a try as it was a breakout hit in the Brooklyn version of this market. The acai bowls are also an absolute must try. Go for the coconut bowl, it’s pretty and delicious. I want to give you the rest of the details but I also don’t wan’t to spoil everything if you want to go. Here is a full list of vendors so you can scout them for yourselves. Smorgusburg is now happening every Sunday in Downtown LA.
