Dreaming In Blue – Part 1
Recently I teamed up with 7 For All Mankind to celebrate the launch of their #DreamingInBlue campaign, which was inspired by California’s brilliant ocean blues and the warmth of the desert sands. I picked up their new collection and headed to my favorite getaway, the desert. Since daytime pool parties aren’t my thing, I like to spend my time exploring everything the desert has to offer. From visiting my favorite vintage store, to finding the best music venue around, the desert is far more than just a place to party (unless it’s Coachella).
The Fine Art of Design is the best vintage boutique in all of California. It is owned and curated by a dear friend with an impeccable eye for vintage. Scouring their racks, you can find anything from vintage Chanel Couture to a 1960’s gown worn to the Oscars.
I love driving out into the high desert, finding a secluded spots for a picnics and hikes.
And while I’m out exploring the high desert, I always make a point to visit Pappy & Harriet’s.
This is by far the best secret venue in the desert. It hosts some of the coolest bands, and in between weekend 1 and 2 of Coachella you can see some of the artists for the price of a couple of beers. Plus they have the best chili I’ve ever had.
Come back tomorrow for part 2 of my desert adventure with 7fam.
