I love a great vintage find and this coat is the epitome of just that. Found at my favorite vintage store, The Fine Art of Design, out in Palm Desert. Absolutely worth the trip, especially if you're already out there for Coachella.

While out on an another trip to the desert, Sam and I decided to go to the end of the road. Literally.
A quarter of a mile after the pavement ends, in the middle of the desert, we found an art installation.
Words can't describe the experience of walking through this desert exhibit.
It's going to be my little secret.

Sam and I just keep finding reasons to escape into the desert.
This weekend we stayed at the Ace hotel for some hip desert fun, poolside lounging, and a Foam magazine event.
Love that the pool is open until 2am and I can bring my dogs.

As a part of the Steve Madden "Steve Brings It" holiday campaign, I was excited to build a party look around a Great Gatsby theme and their delicate blush tones wedges, the Pammyy.
For my 1st outfit I decided to play up a classic party look with warm winter textures like [vintage] fur and tweed, accented with metallic accessories. I settled on a sideswept pony for a retro touch.
Boogie decided he wanted to join the party, and prettied himself up with a flower he expertly plucked off my coffee table.

Adventureland
This weekend Sam and I set out on a spontaneous roadtrip. We had no plans, no booked hotels, and no particular destination in mind. We took off towards Palm Springs, and ended up in the middle of the desert surrounded by ruins and an endless roads. Our journey continues on today.
