As you guys can see I am still not over taking pictures on the roof. I promise I will mix it up and shoot a few photos on the street as well.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of modeling for NastyGalVintage . Everyone there was super sweet and made my first time modeling fun and easy. I had a blast being dressed up like a Barbie doll. They do an amazing job styling their pieces and everyone involved has a great eye for vintage clothing and fashion.

There was this black velvet jumpsuit that I fell in love with! I may have to swoop it up when it goes up on the site.

On a Sunny Sunday Afternoon

I had a really lovely time today at the blogger meet up. The five of us, grabbed lunch at DPC and talked life, blogging and the pain in the ass that is photobucket. All of the ladies were exceptionally sweet and I hope to do it again soon.

Roof Tops

Climbed up on my roof for a new place to shoot blog pictures. Now I really want to throw a party up there, I think it's the prefect place for an all night bbq and dance off. Have I ever mentioned my love for bbqs? Yeah, something about grilling things just makes me giddy inside.

Fall Styling Tips

* Wear lace tights under cuffed trousers.

*Add socks to your usual outfit for a little pick me up.

* Belt your blazers.

*Substitute a short, fitted blazer for the boyfriend blazer to wear over high-waisted pants.

* Mix dark florals with animal print

* Swap your denim cut-offs for a tweed, winter short.

* If you can't afford a pair of thigh high boots, wear thigh highs socks instead.

*Buy a great a pair of vintage sunglasses.

*Focus on wearing and buying pieces you love vs. things that are highly trendy.

Bay Area Blogger Meet Up This Sunday!

This Sunday a few lovely bloggers and I will be getting together at Dolores Park for a blogger meet up. I urge all of you living in the Bay to try and make it out. We will be meeting at 2:00 pm, this Sunday, in front of the Dolores Park Cafe. Hope to see you there!

I know it's not Halloween yet, but this spread made me very excited.

I have to mention that Halloween is totally my favorite holiday. I love dressing up in silly (NOT slutty) outfits and eating candy. Since I am too old to trick-or-treat (trust me I tried, got the door slammed in my face) I buy my own candy, and while everyone else is downing vodka or whatever, I am stuffing my face with chocolate. I am a true fat kid at heart and nothing can change that, not even my weight.

NY Fashion Week

I am having an amazing time at Fashion Week! It's pretty exciting to be a part of something so esoteric. Unfortunately I did not make it into the Herve Leger show as it was over booked, but I did get to watch it live on the big screen inside the tent. Although I am not a huge fan of the body con dresses Herve Leger usually puts out, I did find some of the designs interesting and loved the fact that he chose not to use any colors. The shoes were also pretty killer and kept the dresses looking modern and edgy.

This is the outfit I wore for my first day. A big thanks to the streetstyle photographer Kelly Stuart who took this pic for ELLE magazine, check me out on their site here . It's a very weird feeling when photographers ask to take pictures of you, as soon as one starts taking a pic about five more rush in. I guess everyone and their mom is a street style photographer nowadays.

Tomorrow I go to the Max Azria show and the Chictopia party. A big thanks to Forever21 for sending me some swag for the party, I got everything I needed.

I am leaving for NY Fashion Week tomorrow night and I cannot wait! I hate flying so I am a bit nervous, other than that I am excited and a bit overwhelmed.

Hanging Out with the Stars

Last night's happy hour turned into cheap wine, pizza and friends, all in my cramped studio. This outfit was not the most comfortable option for a night where I insist on finishing all the left over pizza.

Does anyone know where I could find some reasonably priced leather shorts? I have been obsessing about them for months and just cannot find them anywhere! If anyone can help, I will worship you forever.
