Playing with fire

I just got back from some serious shopping with my mom. She is incredibly kind for taking me shopping even though she pretty much pays for my entire life. I cant wait to start putting together my new outfits! 

This blog is kind of going through an overhaul as I'll be playing around with new layouts and a slightly new direction. Here are some topics that I will be exploring in future posts:

Spring Breaking

Spring break is going well. I am in Santa Barbara and the weather is beautiful. The first night we got in, my girlfriends and I got pretty drunk and had a fashion photo shoot, I can't wait to post the pics! I'll be posting more when I get into LA, also I'll be starting to develop this blog further and I am hoping to start having actual music, fashion, photography and all things pop culture posts. Let me know if you guys have any ideas or suggestions. Thanks for your comments and for stopping in to read and browse my blog.

Fading Fast

Today I am heading down to Santa Barbara for spring break with some friends. I am hoping for a relaxing weekend, but also for a bit of PARTYING. I need to let loose a bit. After SB I am heading home to spend time with the family. Not going to lie getting excited, there is a chance this spring break won't be dull after all.

New Shoes!!!

I finally had a photoshoot in my new shoes! I love them, their chunky heel make them very comfortable to walk in, plus I could probably use them as a weapon.

I am trying to plan a trip for my spring break but failing fast... everyone is just so scattered. I have a feeling my spring break will be dull, very dull.

Yesterday we spent 6 hours at the ranch doing laundry, I had 8 loads. I think it's time I did a spring cleaning of my closet and my life in general.

The Road To Our Climbing Tree

I am finally done with my finals and with all of my required class. I celebrated by laying out in the sun, making arts and crafts, listening to music, and drinking Mexican beer. 

These pictures are from  a study break earlier this week.  We took the dogs to our climbing tree and just soaked in the warm sunlight.

Spring brings with it flowers

I walked away from this cashmere pullover about a month ago, but it has been hanging around the thrift store and I finally brought it home. It is my new favorite piece, I have worn it for three days now and refuse to take it off. Oh, and the 12 page personality assessment paper? yeah, mine will be more like 17 pages thank you very much (way too much info to try to cram into 12 pages).

Introducing moo moo the cat...

She's just so cute and fluffy...I love her even though she insists on peeing all over my stuff.

Bag Lady

The layering in this Comme des Garcons collection is obscene, the billowing shapes under structured jackets and the tulle overlays are giving me seizures of inspiration. I have also been really drawn to peach as of late and I am loving the peach tulle... need to think of ways to incorporate it into my wardrobe this spring.

Blurry lights, Blurry nights

Last night my darling boy and I met a girlfriend at a pub, we drank some good beer and I tried fried pickles for the first time. I love fried pickles, they are AMAZING, yum. After our fried pickle experience we made our way over to a zombie art show. It was a very low key night but I got pretty tipsy having started with a 24 oz of Tecate. I was feeling kinda grungy so this was my grungy, dive bar look.
