Feeling inspired.




I decided to play a little dress up today, feeling inspired by all the sheer that has been showing up on the runways (Specifically the Armand Basi picture). Both sheer pieces are from thrift stores and were each under 15$. I am also wearing my AA skirt and shoes from urban outfitters. I actually bought the sheer skirt a while ago and sort of forgot about it. When I saw the Basi collection, it immediately came to mind

Fun Fashion Fact : Givenchy considered Balenciaga to be not only his mentor, but a very close friend. He wore a white coat given to him by Balenciaga at the end of every show for 40 years.

Lanvin Love






Love the pops of satin and colors, and the black and white is so simple yet chic for spring. I really want that simple black waist belt.  I am really inspired by this collection.

Playing Dress Up




I love my vintage fur. I decided to play dress up last night. The jeans are Urban, the blouse is Kors, the shoes I got at DSW, and the bow I made my self out of my bf's bow tie.

Crab and Oysters






Last night we had dinner with my man's family, it was lovely. We had crab, oysters, and pie. A solid meal for a solid crowd. 
I wore my new vintage 70's boots, my AA leggings, an H&M tank, a vest from Urban Outfitters, and a thrifted silk scarf with my vintage, gold jewelry.

Adventures in Legos






So the other day  my boyfriend decided to bust out his childhood legos. It was a fantastic idea as I did not get off the floor until I built the above master piece. Notice all the amenities the lego house has and the amazing closet that is better than my own. 
My boyfriend, on the other hand, built a space ship.

If I could have any collection from spring/summer 2009 it would Balmain. I love the jackets, I adore the dresses, and I even like the white denim. Lets not even talk about the shoes.

Wang Spring 09.





Maybe it is because I am sick, but I am really drawn to grungy, messy, simple outfits. The first picture is pretty much what I am going to put on today to go to my lab meeting.
 Wang's new collection is great, I love the pops of color. Those are just a few of the looks I was instantly drawn to. The dress is to die for.
